"When I first contacted Margie, I believed my situation was pretty hopeless. I wanted to live in my preferred area and didn’t have enough income to qualify for what I really wanted. Prices are very high, higher than I believed I could really afford.
She didn’t give up, she searched and searched for possibilities that met my criteria. Sending me listings and keeping in close contact. I was ready to call it quits, the only houses that even came close to my price range were in areas I would not live in. One day she sent a listing for some homes made by a popular builder, I like the floor plans and the locations they offered and the prices were almost within my range – very close. After contacting her and telling her of my interest, she drove probably more than 50 miles to represent me at the home builder’s offices. We spent hours at the builder’s, looking at the models, talking about the real possibilities. Not only did she drive all that way on that occasion but on several more. One of the trips took about 4 hours, with the builder’s representative getting prices on two different models, using multiple financing scenario.
The entire time Margie was there, she was very positive, and asked all of the questions that I hadn’t thought of. The next day, after reviewing the possibilities, I told her I couldn’t do it, the payments were just too high. She contacted the builder’s representative to thank them for their time, stating that the price was just our of my reach. I don’t know exactly what she said, but by the next day they had contacted both of us with a better price. This time it was within my reach.
Because of her diligence and tenacity to stick with what I thought was a lost cause, I have made an offer on the home, have submitted all of my paperwork and if all goes according to plan, I will be in my new home by the end of the month. Thank You."
